Just looking at the raw input from my Intuos the stems are already pretty prominent, so I imagine it's going to be about finding a good combination of post-processing and using the pen a bit differently.
I don't actually mind doing line art on paper but I've always hated doing it in digital.

Any tips for getting rid of stems on tapered lines? It's been an issue before but I don't normally use tapered brushes.
The Lady Nezumi plugin seems helpful but I'm on OSX so unfortunately it isn't an option.

Still thinking about No Other Choice. Wasn't that enthusiastic leaving the theater but it really left an impression on me. Such a cynical film but one with so much sympathy for all its characters.

What radicalized me was seeing the old Pearl Paint neon sign displayed in the lobby of the luxury condo that replaced it. The Capitalists weren't just content to trample over the culture of the city, they made a trophy to commemorate the act.
(New York Central and Pearl Paint were iconic art supply stores in NYC, used by pretty much every artist in the city for decades. Both went out of business in the 2010s)

Saw New York Central branded watercolor paper on the Jerry's Artarama website and I thought I was disassociating for a second. It's like seeing a friend who died years ago just randomly working as a cashier at the supermarket.
