Which still doesn’t make the dictionary any less authoritative lol. Colloquialisms happen every decade. People randomly deciding to give already established words a different meaning when it suits them doesn’t make the dictionary useless. That’s why urban dictionary was created.
Dictionaries don’t determine what words mean. They’re not authoritative. They just tell how ppl commonly use words.
Think of “literally”
Literally implies what was said should be taken plainly/no figure of speech
But we’ve collectively given it a second meaning which opposes the first.
