It's more that I'm realising that it's something I'm going to be struggling with for the rest of my life. It's not going to go away, and that's ok. I can't get it out from the root.
But knowing it's always going to be there doesn't mean that I won't keep pulling it out and patching the holes.

I think depression is part of me now. I can keep patching myself up, but it'll always be there, waiting for the next slip up, the next bad moment. And then it'll show its face again and say: "Look. I'm still here."
