Altering archive photos is a falsification of history. It's extremely important not to do that.

It's bad enough that I have to put up with retouched behind-the-scenes images (green screen replaced by gray...), but if on top of that they modify details from the past...

This vpet is quite deep, a fascinating fresh take from the brand. The core's the same but the stuff around it was reworked & redesigned in a way it sustains longterm play

Bandai returned to animalistic designs, abandoning overly human-princess pets. Very fun

The core problem within the modern IT business is that (regardless if it's a new tech, platform, application, or a learning tool) - is that the main goal to - sell it to a bigger entity as soon as it brings sustainable profit/ or alternatively turn it into a money laundering scheme.

Same, this would be my 4th major (and ca. 11th minor) migration.

It's tiring. Business guys don't want us. They don't want genuine humans. They want numbers, stats, and profits.

Nowhere to go until the internet entirely implodes and goes back to blogging, forums, and personal HTML websites, ig.

I’m staying, fuck it. Can’t be bothered migrating to yet another platform where we go through the same shit over and over again until we crumble to dust. At least here I can very easily avoid the junk and make my space a positive, helpful and encouraging one for likeminded people.

No one wants to own anything, no one wants a long term solution, only quick profit which ruins any sustainable foundation.

Except for the biggest companies. They benefit from buying the new tech cheap; they shield it with their grasp, and grow parasitic monopolies on them.

I had been drawing on a Nintendo 3DS and selling prints. If contemporary modern art can sell for millions, why digital art shouldn't? And regardless- (or especially bc-) of the device or program used

Digital art has been carrying the industry for decades and that should be recognized widely :)

Yeah, feels more fun/natural that way. I've been searching for "le perfect" vpet for so decades so who knows, this could become the closest to that? Excited to find out.

And they made a bunch of humanoid guys, here's a few:

Like, get this. I'm so into oddpets bc I'm specifically not fond of Tama's gameplay/programming. Digimon is slightly better bc fights & cooler pets but it's still the same thing.

Who knows, Paradise *may* finally become my [almost] perfect vpet! And I care for tiny animals like in Morino! Exciting!

Same! And is the overabundance of sentient little humans who crap on the carpet that weirds me out. I prefered their 90s charmingly vague blobby selfs.

Altho with modern Tama, props to their wackier designs like drums, crayons, or boots! :D

Either way, too much like pokemon IS the selling point!
