She’d already removed his daytime clothing, his pajamas folded up neatly on the bed beside him, to be donned with her careful help once she’d gotten him bare. That redressing did not appear as if it would be happening any time soon because in the split second he’d taken his eyes off of her to lean his head back and moan in relief at the release of pressure, she’d slithered up from her crouch between his knees on the side of the bed, over his swollen belly, and latched onto his breast.

Five years ago, this moment wouldn’t have even been a dream, completely inconceivable, having a lover and a family at all. And even a year ago, after he’d found his lovely satyress and committed himself to her, it would have only been a wistful ‘in another world’ thought. Their compatibility platonically, romantically, and sexually had been undeniable, but he’d thought it would be agiven that they wouldn’t be so lucky reproductively. A centaur and a satyress. An impossible pair. And yet, his child grew in her womb, the two of them combined to make a higher being. Neither were all that certain what was going to come out, nor were they entirely certain when it would be coming out, but it didn’t matter. Their baby could be anything and they would be loved. And Crowley would stay pregnant as long as necessary to keep them safe, and Aziraphale would be there to make sure she stayed safe.

Aziraphale and Crowley chat for a bit in the dark heart of the Labyrinth, totally alone. It occurs to them that no one can see them, and no one needs to know what happened here. And if Crowley is supposed to fight Aziraphale in a mighty battle, he needs to look roughed-up. So….

Crowley is Theseus (the Six Labours involving underworld shenanigans was him dealing with Hellish bureaucracy). He was horrified about the rumours of children sacrificed to the Minotaur in Crete, so he went out to investigate. But who should he find in the labyrinth but his angelic best friend!

Sure, Aziraphale could have fought them off, but the Cretans just seemed so terribly excited to capture an ACTUAL MONSTER and he hated to disappoint them. And honestly, being left alone to read & chill sounded splendid to him. If a certain someone has to rescue him later, well, he won’t complain…
