I think this is more when Newhook and dach and Evans are back. If we are holding Veleno and Blais at a higher standing than these three...... I know we like the underdog story here in Montreal but I think we will have to say goodbye to those two in the near future.

Veleno beck and Blais are out. Gallagher 13th forward. However with Dachs uncertainty I can see 77 having a hard time with cracking the roster. Laine will be given a shot initially to bolster pp2 then could be a TDL trade chip. We shall see!

Can't be all bangers in a 82 game condensed season. Methinks they have another dud tomorrow and get refreshed at home. Hoping guhle is back to help out shortly.

Also how quickly do people forget the recent comebacks the Habs have had. Need to keep blues to 2 and they have until the 5 min mark of 3rd to get that first goal and make magic again.

With all the injuries it is definitely tough to replace that production. However what are demidov and Kapanen on pace for? I feel before his injury, Newhook was going to reach a PB for the year. The Habs always needed that elusive 2c but Dach was starting to level up as well.

I get it but these are a few of the older guys who bring grit that a very young Habs team will need. Can't have it both ways. You blink and the cup contention window shall be upon us.

Rebuild in year 4. Two more years to go. Ducks made key ufa signings to bolster lineup. My thinking is this will happen with Habs as early as this off-season!

Thinking on it, when dach comes back they move Veleno to the wing and it's 90-77-76 which isn't a horrible line.

Ducks also started their rebuild before the Habs. Let's give it 2 more years and see where they are at no?

Imagine where they would be had newy dach and Laine been healthy. I mean still a chance all three have some time back in the lineup together by the end of the season. That would put Evan's line down to the 4th where they belong. Habs need to stay afloat until Feb. Shouldn't be losing games like this

Rebuild still 2 years away from completion. I think this is a step back year so they can take two steps forward the next. Injuries will really derail this season.
