They’re drunk on power and first quarter goals. If the poor sods would, or even could, read a history book from 1941-1945 they’d know that the second quarter is sporty, and by the 4th we’ve got our boot on their neck and will keep pressing the issue until we hear the crunch.

In an ideal world we would have both an income tax and a sales tax. Reduce the tax burden on our citizens at the lower end onto those of use towards the top, such as myself, while also maintaining public contributions during boom and bust years.

CSB: I was detailed to a Raytheon facility for training in ~1995 and almost every one I met there straight up told me that their end goal was to do just enough to get a severance package. Nice to know that nothing has changed in 30 years.
