A wild raccoon appears! Formerly a deer mouse. Seattle area forest dweller. Therian. Mushroom whisperer.
This looks like an amazing time!

I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did!

What iPhone app are you using? I got my phone specifically for the back lidar for scanning but haven’t used it yet.

So cool! I bought a bunch of filament last time I was there. Cheaper than Amazon. The hotel I stay at when I fly down there for work is across the street so I’m down there a few times a year.

Go check out the 3D printers and the filament vending machine in the back! (Assuming you’re at the Tustin location)

@klagaskunk.bsky.social might be going?
January 30, 2026 at 7:03 AM
I haven’t been summoned since like, 2005. I wasn’t able to go because I’d moved to a different county and the summons was forwarded to me.

There’s a bunch of recent pics in my media tab. As for process, probably easiest to hmu on tg. Same @

Did a boolean subtract of a human head shape scaled to my own measurements from the sculpt so it fits like a glove. Very light and crazy strong. Not a single rigid part on it so nothing to break.

I’d use softer TPU and less infill density if I did it again.

Nice! I always flinch when I see printed heads that are (or look like) rigid plastic. TPU is really the way to go these days.

I printed my realistic mask using aa TPU “foam” (infill only) method and it came out great.

Raccoon face!

Have you considered printing in TPU?
