Taking a little break from my main project to slap together a simple road rash based exercise bike VR game. Sounds a little crazy when I call it a side project.
More crazy to me is the fact that my game dev now involves a multi-meter!

Finally getting into my mesh generation. Half Edge up and running, basic selection and manipulation. However, I got side tracked by sprucing up the inspector, its always nice to have a nice looking work space.

Got my in-graph syntax editing going. Also had a bit of nostalgia for the old CRT aesthetic, so I added scanlines so that it gets hard to read text sometimes! :D

The fantastic game jam @ludumdare.com is sadly not running any events in 2025 as host Mike Kasprzak is struggling financially.

While Mike isn't specifically asking for donations, he does have a Patreon which helps cover the jam's expenses.

Perhaps we can help? www.patreon.com/c/mikekasprz...

Just wanted to drop one more that shows up all the different modes for adding and modifying edges. There is still one more edit action I want to add, which is inserting a node into the middle of an edge, it won't be hard to add that one, but it's really nice to have.

Took a lot longer than I anticipated, but edge management is done? Feels very good to have all this working nicely.
There is one more case I need to look at for multiple collapsed edges on a parameter, but I think I could safely ignore it for now. I could just not allow it?

Added in auto build and auto execution so I could do some visually fun stuff. Another stone in the foundation. #procgen #gamdev

Thought I'd finally post on here. Been working on a Visual programming environment for Unity with a focus on procedural generation and performant end results. Been quite a journey!
Today I hit one of the last major milestones before I can start on mesh gen.
