Hey all,
I volunteer with Dubuque Harm Reduction; we're a group that provides people who use drugs and their loved ones with harm reduction supplies (naloxone/narcan, sterile injection equipment, wound care supplies, fentanyl test strips, etc.) and educates the community on harm reduction principles.
Our goal is to meet people who use drugs where they are and help them to make healthier choices, prevent death from overdose, and reduce the spread of communicable diseases within our community.

Harm reduction groups have been struggling under the current administration and its policies, and many have had to rely on mutual aid to continue helping the people they serve, including DHR.
I just delivered the last of our injection supplies to some community members and I'm reaching out in hopes of raising funds to purchase more. Anything donated will be used to purchase sterile injection supplies, which will be distributed at no cost throughout the community. Any amount helps.
