Where the hell is Congress? Trump's either blatantly lying or being manipulated, but either way this portrayal of an alternate reality cannot be allowed to attack our cities.

So cool that whenever someone asks the president, “did you eat the Lindbergh baby” he’s like, “no but I’d be allowed to, I have the right to, I might do it later”

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Children killed in Texas’ July floods are still missing. A community mourns. Yet, Abbott yields to Trump and sends the Texas National Guard to harass Chicago communities instead of keeping them in state to help.

Trump's regime cannot continue to weaponize our military and terrorize our cities.

Schiff: This is supposed to be an oversight hearing when dozens of prosecutors have been fired simply because they worked on cases investigating the former president.

Bondi: What about the fires in California? Are the riots in LA serious?

These scientists are heroes. Trump is not in the same class.

"Mary E. Brunkow, Fred Ramsdell & Dr. Shimon Sakaguchi were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine... Their research has contributed to medical advances in cancer and autoimmune treatments, and may help with organ transplants."

I am all for these workarounds by folx who have gotten screwed over by the tentacles of our current authoritarian govt. People are getting creative to keep others engaged, and we need more of this sort of community. (Also, I wish I had the time to take this class right now, as it sounds amazing.)

Nearly 10% of humanity (~800M people in 2025) struggles to live on less than $3 a day. It’s important for Americans to appreciate that reality — and the growing gap between the extremely poor & the extremely privileged — because, as USAID demonstrated, our nation has the power to change it.

Ten percent of humanity struggles to live on under $2 a day. That, and the gap between the extremely poor and the more privileged, is important to see.
