I don't know what scene it was – one of the last animated, rather than chronologically, so it would have been one of the ones they revised. The villain's scrying scene used to have a different ending, it may have been that one.

I nearly crashed a computer rendering one of the last scenes for that film! And yet James Baxter didn't kick me out of his studio; truly a god among men.

No, on most modern CG productions the animators film *themselves* and then animate off that. Maybe not the choreographed onstage stuff but certainly the offstage. I liked it! I thought it struck the right balance of anime/CG. But then I find stuff like Moana unwatchably overanimated these days.
