I know I’ve recently had trouble focusing on the screen at home. One of the joys of studying film in college/grad was getting to see older films on a huge screen. Not to sound like Chris Nolan, but most people really can’t replicate that experience. The option should stay open, even if scaled down.

Yes, screeners are good! They get to see these films at home! some films that don’t get big theatrical releases prior to Oscar noms should still get some level of official theatrical screening *after* the noms come out. That experience can be surprisingly different! And it discourages multitasking.
