in fact you do not have to show your ID when you board a train in the united states, you only need to show your ticket (which can be purchased without an ID)
Markwayne Mullin defends "show me your papers": "If you're here legally, there's nothing to hide. Most people already are walking around with a government-issued ID, meaning your Real ID or your driver's license. If you go board a train here, you gotta show your ID."

Infuriating. They aren't watching at home either. Just voting on a whim or based on what they perceive the trend is. Or according to their stupid biases. If you can't watch the film, you have no business voting.
The Academy won't show Oscar-nominated films to members on the big screen, only at-home screeners (due to low attendance). C'mon voting members. You can't complain about the slide of theatrical releases if even you won't go to them. I went! (see pics)

Should you get snatched out of your home on April 21st because you didn’t file your taxes on time? The government is focused on immigrants now but if you set the precedent that people should get kidnapped over paperwork there’s a whole lot of people who can get taken next

When a sitting representative refers to the Super Bowl halftime show as “pornography,” people should use that to reflect on how they and other representatives are simultaneously working to ban, censor, and restrict “pornography” and what that actually means

It’s so funny how these organizations that claim to want an expanded audience, to give smaller films & minorities a better chance against juggernaut films, always turn around and find a way to make films exclusive. The theatrical experience should stay an option even if it’s fewer seats, not 0.
Film Academy Will No Longer Show Oscar-Nominated Films to Members on Big Screen (Exclusive)
The organization says its post-nominations screenings, which reportedly cost thousands of dollars a pop, drew "an average of five members" over the last years, leading to the decision to eliminate the...

U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

The DOJ (illegally) redacted Trump's name in the public files.

I hear from people who are surprised I'm still talking about ICE, they thought they'd withdrawn from MN.

No, they have not. In some respects they've escalated.

Some asked why MN is a target. Are there are there a lot more illegals or criminals here?

No, it's not about that. It's about a grudge.

Best in Show is very important to me.
When it came out, we rented it as a family and watched it for the first time all together, my dad's side, who we love but rarely see, and all the kids included. It was a time.
The opening scene brings me right back to the awesome awkwardness 😊
