Exactly! When I finally started meds in my 40s my doctor told me it's on a spectrum, and I'm on the "oh, look, a squirrel" end of that spectrum. 😂🤣 He said as you age it only gets worse. I was so relieved to finally have an answer for why I was always like this and get meds that help!

Yes, it's a total pain in the ass! Can't refill early, but then pharmacy is out. I can never get the generics either because they're always out of stock. One PCP I had said I had to see a psychiatrist who made me come every couple months. Absurd waste of time and money!

I started ADHD meds in my 40s.Never knew why I was a "space cadet" and went nuts during summer when not in school. I started college at 16 while working full time and learned to compensate.I don't FEEL different when I take my meds, but if I don't I realize I'm reading sentences over and over, etc.
