that's not true! editors are in high demand right now because they're almost single-handedly responsible for creating the perceived value in ai-generated content. it's just that the ai then gets all of the credit and money for it, also

yeah I mean the translation field for the last ~15-20 years already basically served as the testbed for seeing whether they could automate the creative process and get away with the ensuing massive drop in quality and unfortunately the answer was "basically yes"
