My dad worked for USPS for more than 40 years. He was never a carrier to my knowledge, but I learned to appreciate things like ZIP codes.

I grew up reading old Peanuts comics, and sometimes I forget that not everyone has that trivia knowledge of Peanuts that I do. The bit with 5 was excellent, maybe especially because he was introduced in 1963 (a fact I did have to look up).

You’ve reminded me of how much I enjoy Mortal Kombat for the lore.

I like the idea, but I also pause when I think about casting Muppets as the Illinois Nazis. Probably have to soften that up a little.

My alternate number is 41, because it was assigned to me one year of HS baseball. I wasn’t any good, but it’s not a number in common use, so I enjoy its uniqueness, and it sort of serves as a reminder that I’ve dealt with adversity in sports.

I always wear 16 if it’s available. I wore it once in little league and had a great season, which happened to be around the time Mike Blowers, wearing 16, hit like three grand slams in a month for the Mariners.

Animaniacs was some pretty good cartooning, though I guess that was WB.
