the staff on this site botched comms so badly that now people are freaking out over the use of AI to automatically filter images (a thing that all social media websites do because the alternative is making your mods manually review thousands of images of gore and CSAM per hour)

This is disturbing. There's no monetization or value in harassing AO3 users; it's just harassment as a service, automated bile, dehumanizing and algorithmically deploying nastiness on an internet that's less and less human, and for what?
this is so fucking ridiculous but its TRUE the new dipshit feature of 2025 is that there's a bunch of praise-hate ragebait bots set loose on AO3 comments rn. If you receive anything that sounds like this, it's a bot. I can't believe things are getting stupider!!!!!!!!
