They really insisted on making weird 3-4 legged combination capacitors back in the 40s and 50s. I never see that stuff in modern electronics.

Thanks! It’s mostly complete. Recapped and replaced the amp tubes. I’ve been hunting down the source of an intermittent audio distortion though. I’ve found a few out of spec resistors, and/or a flakey IF tube might be the culprit.

73 year old radio has two different resistor values for the same model. A revision perhaps. No date codes, so I must guess which is correct.
