Our new study out today shows persistent racial/ethnic disparities in access to medications for opioid use disorder—even after adjusting for insurance. Notably, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage were linked to higher buprenorphine use than commercial insurance.
After opioid-related health care events, patients with Medicaid/Medicare were more likely to receive buprenorphine than those with commercial insurance. https://ja.ma/4kfOsoz
