The right will do anything but actually learn any lessons from last night. And you know what? I’m cool with that. Let them learn nothing. Then they’ll be shocked to fuck next November.
Denny, there’s an update

CONFIRMED: Georgia Democrats have won their first statewide elections for non-federal offices since *2006.*

The two Dem challengers, Alicia Johnson and Peter Hubbard, have ousted two GOP Republican commissioners on the state's utility commission.

Winning feels really good. Spanberger, Sherrill, and Mamdani. Looking good in state legislature races in VA and NJ. Fingers crossed prop 50 brings us over the line.

I don’t think I’ll ever fully understand the generational shift in gamers from playing games for the gameplay and playing games for the grind of unlocks and dopamine hits. Like, I’m all for a good progression system and unlock grind, but the gameplay is why I’m playing. Not the unlocks.

Battlefield 6 is the best example of listening to your fans and developing a game for the people who actually play your game. BF6 is a massive improvement over 2042, and a super optimized game even on PC. Kudos to DICE!

Overcast. Tapestry. Narwhal. The speed with which these apps received major iOS 26 updates that incorporated Liquid Glass redesigns is exactly why I use native third party apps on my phone and not cross-platform or non-Apple first party apps.

KPop Demon Hunters has really buried it's way into my brain. The music is just 🔥 and I'm obsessed.

Really enjoying my 2025 Apple device upgrade: 17 Pro Max is a big improvement over my 14 Pro Max (lighter, cooler, faster, blue!), the Series 11 is a huge upgrade over my OG SE (battery life!), and the AirPods Pro 3 fit so much better in my ears. Really solid upgrades all around.

IOI's 007 First Light first look may have serious image quality issues (blurry, aliased and poor FPS), but the gameplay looks like exactly what I'd want out of a Bond game: a cross between Hitman and Uncharted. Keeping an eye on this game as it nears release.

Andor just proves you don't need lightsabers to make good Star Wars, and Star Wars is at its best when it's making a statement.

I saw #Superman. It was alright, but early reviews and Prime Fan showing reactions raised my expectations a bit. My feelings of the film fall in line with how the trailers made me feel: solid but crowded. What I didn’t expect was James Gunn going full James Gunn and totally blowing it at times.

I’m going to take the Trump administration and DOJs decision to not release the Epstein files (by claiming they don’t exist) as irrefutable proof that multiple members of the Trump admin, including Trump himself, are featured quite heavily in said files.

I love how Jurassic World Rebirth reviews are either "it's the worst Jurassic movie ever" or "it's really solid and one of the better sequels in the series." And honestly, the Metacritic/RT scores track exactly with that perception.

These people are Nazis. I know that's well-understood by many people at this point, but not enough. They are Nazis and we need to keep saying it.

Is the cease-fire in the room with us right now?

It's the Bibi special: enter into a cease-fire agreement to get your adversary to back down, then just keep swinging.
BREAKING

The IDF says missiles have been launched by the Islamic Republic of Iran towards Israeli territory.
June 24, 2025 at 2:18 AM
Trump boasted on Truth Social that Iran and Israel have reached cease-fire. Iran just denied such an agreement exists while Israel continues raining bombs on Tehran. So... is this a typical Israeli cease-fire deal where Israel just disregards it or (more likely) is there actually no cease-fire deal?

Updated to iOS 26 DB2 and the immediate improvement in fidelity and performance is astounding. DB1 was a laggy mess but so far DB2 is a smooth and fluid experience.
