You may laugh, but the Macbeths are a much better role model for a marriage than Romeo and Juliet. They discuss their problems (killing the king of Scotland), share their hobbies (killing the king of Scotland), and resolve their conflicts (by killing the king of Scotland).

I presume the refs were thinking Hischier's legs gave out from pure relief or mental trauma from almost dying.

It is also literally true that far fewer kids are dying of injuries these days.
This is one of those issues where risk mitigation can result in individual-level benefits and lives saved and society-level costs.
