Just finished this on audio. Very good narration. This was a short chaotic novel of a journey through a crisis of faith. In some ways it reminded me of catcher in the rye if it were southern and more unhinged.

Edith Wharton has completely captivated me. I did realize about 1/2 way through that I had actually watched the movie of this book many years ago.

Watching the American Revolution docuseries on PBS and I was reminded that the kid and i celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Boston tea party by throwing tea in a friend’s pool and dressing up 😅 it was fun.

Edith Wharton is quickly becoming a favorite author. I jumped right into the age of innocence. I’m not sure how I feel about the protagonist yet, but I am feeling like I became more enthralled in the character development in the house of mirth.
