it mostly doesn't. there are small sections of liminal paths that just turn into nothing and have you questioning your route. however, it is useful to have a track like this on a map, as this is a bushwacking route and the track is a baseline. just don't rely on the ground - rely on your compass.

you may see maps that indicate a serviceable route through the forest but in reality you are going to end up in a jail of trees called "dink"
