One of my warning signs for accounts to disregard are ones that all seem to have slightly under 2k followers, slightly under 1k follows, and 8.5k or so posts.
They all "for some reason" spend all day posting about one single hobby they're super into, and of course being toxic abt American politics.

I tend to block blind nihilism posters on instinct, but it has nothing to do with the overall merit of whatever things they said.
Often valid points are raised.
I just don't mesh well with generic doomer-ing that skips over presenting a workable plan for how that doom can be countered or reversed.

#Bluesky needs that account location "feature" that Twitter removed after it accidentally showed that a significant amount of ragebait posts were flowing from troll farms in like three countries.
Can't sue someone without "standing", maybe we shouldn't be able to poison discourse without it either.

My usual go-to point about "AI" systems being largely garage is simple.
If they were so great, they wouldn't be shoved at you for free.
Free use of "AI" systems has nothing to do with benefiting humanity.
Clean water is the single greatest thing that benefits all humanity, and even it isn't free.

About 20% of Americans are basically illiterate, around 50% only read at a 6th grade level.
Also, around 50% cannot functionally comprehend complex issues or draw conclusions from multiple separate facts.
That means half of America has no idea, or ability to understand what all of the above means.

To be fair I was able to cancel my subscription just fine, but five attempts (and counting) to get the confirmation code to delete my account have not been received.

It should be super embarrassing for the entire supreme court, Congress, and "legacy" media to realize that all they had to do was show a tiny piece of backbone to trump.
