I've got a couple of stories that have hit the 50 rejection mark. It's annoying as fuck frustrating, but I'm trying to see it as it's the lit mag who rejected loss. They passed up on a great story. Any other way of thought would have me going insane and day drinking. 🤪

Don't give me that 'we don't have time' or 'we get So. Many. Submissions'. bull shit. Put a cap on your submissions. Have a form rejection email ready. It's rude/unprofessional. I don't use most streaming services, but I did cancel Hulu. Husband and I live pretty cheaply as it is. I think a lot of that is generational. We're both GenXers/old school still have gobs of vinyl/CDs/DVDs.

I did some submitting today. Mainly on 'My Mother's Dark Side' & "Last Human at the Bar". The first one is a brutally truthfull look back at my mother, how she treated me & how very few people saw it. The other story is a flash/thriller/specfic/urban fantasy.
