maybe you've seen the anime "Cells at Work!"... i love the idea of humanizing the body's immune cells as a storytelling mechanism, so have my drawing of me as a Commander Helper T cell with a latte and morning CH&M article 📝☕️
If you get a chance, I recommend taking a break to brew coffee at the top of your local mountain. Then, kinda just relax with it and read a book up there >>>

Materials and Methods cont.

Plasmodium parasites were passaged & frozen in liquid nitrogen. Students in this lab working with P. yoelii don't feel the need to gameplay exactly what they would do if they injected themselves i.v. with the P. falciparum stock tube that the PI has for some reason.

Materials and Methods:

Mice were bred in-house at one million degrees Celsius and fed Frito-chip nuggets without restriction. They were kept in their preferred bedding decorated with ~30% of their own little turds.

Today's energy level: bottomless coffee has mystically reanimated my corpse to write 📝🧟‍♀️ and, like the movie Warm Bodies, my true love for the process is slowly turning me back into a living human.

(Never mind the necrotized organs! In the end, love will probably bring them back to function)! ☺️

wow, today I presented this intriguing research article in journal club, and I'm excited to say that this baby parasitologist (🙋🏼‍♀️) has finally found another favorite subject in an unexpected field -

This was fun to paint. Inspired by coastal marshes in the lowcountry. The richly saturated jewel tones stand out nicely against the dark grass making for a dramatic scene. I hope you enjoy the results!
