maybe you've seen the anime "Cells at Work!"... i love the idea of humanizing the body's immune cells as a storytelling mechanism, so have my drawing of me as a Commander Helper T cell with a latte and morning CH&M article 📝☕️

Plasmodium parasites were passaged & frozen in liquid nitrogen. Students in this lab working with P. yoelii don't feel the need to gameplay exactly what they would do if they injected themselves i.v. with the P. falciparum stock tube that the PI has for some reason.

Mice were bred in-house at one million degrees Celsius and fed Frito-chip nuggets without restriction. They were kept in their preferred bedding decorated with ~30% of their own little turds.
