You told it like it is. Part of the reason we are in this "moment" is that MAGA folks like Charlie Kirk have been inciting violence for years. Even celebrating violence when it's against Democrats. Where was this outrage when Melissa Hortman was assassinated?

Nothing you said was hateful. You told us the truth of our current environment and we need more people to give the truth.

Mr. Dowd, you are deserving of some grace, which is in short supply. Your thoughts on the current toxic political environment were a reflection of the reality we're living. The reactionary response to you sharing your honest thoughts only reinforce their accuracy.

I think @msnbc.com firing you was unwarranted, unfair and shows a trend of Mainstream Reporting outlets bending the knee to Trump.

If they had suspended you for a few eps, I would have agreed with that decision. But firing was a bridge WAY too far.
