Yesterday Centre's @coreysoper.bsky.social visited 25-6 Beacon School, Hinde House, Sheffield, to deliver CPD & to get to know the school. He was particularly inspired by the rich offers for pupils with SEND & alternate provision, & the community focus of the school.

#Sukkot begins at sunset: a Jewish festival that honours resilience, gratitude & togetherness.
It's traditional to build temporary shelters & to hang fruits from the roof at #harvest time.
The Centre wish 'Chag Sameach' to all those celebrating.

It's central themes are atonement & repentance; traditionally observed with fasting & reflection.

Last week Centre's Luke Sarsons visited Outwood Academy Valley, one of our 2025 Beacon Schools, to deliver a CPD on Authentic Encounters to a mixed group of teachers, subject specialists in different areas, but who will all be delivering Year 9 RS including a module on the Holocaust.
