We did a perfect hike to Preikestolen as N Pact School participants. Particle physics, cosmology, and Norwegian fjords intersected in space-time.

I have been invited to a formal
dinner in Cambridge. As a first timer, it was great to dine in Hogwarts style dining rooms.

Unusual advantage of being from ‘the Middle East’: you are more likely to be the only author publishing with your last name (as in my case)😆

The last 3 years have been the hottest in around 125,000 years.

CO2 levels are their highest in MILLIONS of years.

But most people have no idea this is happening, let alone what it means for our kids’ futures.

Our politics & media have failed our children. We should be furious.

This is good to know.
On average, 86% of all named tropical systems in the Atlantic occur after August 2, and the first hurricane doesn't form until August 11.

Happy 99th birthday to the man who gave voice to the wild. 🎉

Sir David Attenborough, thank you for a lifetime dedicated to the natural world, and for sharing its story with wisdom, wonder, and grace.

You've inspired generations to fall in love with nature.

We have to be critical of almost any high impact claims nowadays.
The evidence for biosignatures on K2-18b is flimsy, at best

Last week, Cambridge scientists announced the discovery of DMS and DMDS on K2-18b: what they call a "surefire biosignature."

Now, cut through the hype and get to the truth.

A Cambridge-based team claims to find molecules on an exoplanet that are only produced by life on Earth. Don't fall for the unfounded hype.

Its near-final budget proposal would end all NOAA research labs, academic institutes, and regional climate centers. And it wants to fully end the NOAA Research division.
