Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service called out crews from across central Oxfordshire to fight the fire, which was “well developed involving the first floor and roof”. They say they have been able to save a large part of the building. The house is currently unoccupied and no persons were injured.

Glam rock was very much a part of my 70’s childhood, like living through a fever dream. Slade didn’t quite break the US did they? Interesting to hear they got picked up by another band, I quite appreciated their music later in life
