Since 1968, CEO pay has exploded while worker pay has remained stagnant. If worker pay grew at the same pace as CEO pay, today’s typical worker would make $431.80 per HOUR.
Instead, today’s typical worker makes $36.49 per hour — while CEOs make 280 times that on average.

The WA Government needs to make it clear: if BHP are gong to shift the goal posts and fail to deliver on their emission promises, the WA taxpayer will require more from them in rent and revenue to balance that loss. These are OUR resources, not theirs. #wapol #auspol

Am I the only one to notice that customer service is dead? Filling out surveys and questionnaires or giving feedback, all just lands in the trash. Requesting a call back from a manager, and never get a call back. Are all companies okay with dying service and customer satisfaction?

It pains me mildly to suggest it but since we are all here on Bluesky I feel this is the proper place for it. Since I refuse to use the name X and still ‘dead-name’ it with twitter, might I suggest we call stop calling it DOGE and instead call it ‘Doggy’.

With the whirlwind of events in the US lately I can’t help but have the machiavellian feeling that by the time his 4 years are almost up, slavery will be legal again. I don’t need to doom scroll anymore because Murphy’s Law was just given the most power and chance to succeed.
