It seems that the original Star Trek series predicted the future with the 'Tholian web'
Anyone attempting to take photos of the night sky now has to contend with thousands of streaks from mainly starlink satellites. 😠

Quick trip to the nature reserve in Eardington. Took lots of pictures of the bottom of the pool, being too slow to catch anything else, a nice dragonfly sunning itself on a rock, and some not-quite-in-focus dragonfly hanky-panky. 😂

I expect that they'll 'do a deal' for energy at a much reduced price, leaving the rest of us to basically pay more for ours for the privilege of having them here.
