@cracksh0t.bsky.social After Gwen died and Peter was devastated Mary Jane wanted to help and he was mean and said she wouldn't care even if her own mother died. Despite that, Mary Jane decided to stay and help him.

@cracksh0t.bsky.social She’s always known who he is and fell in love with him not because he is Spider-Man, but because he’s the kind of person who would be Spider-Man. MJ was always more than the party girl persona she put up front and Peter was more than a shy book nerd.

@cracksh0t.bsky.social And seeing the conflicts they dealt with while married, only made them seem more real and in the end they always came out more committed to each other. MJ was in Peter's life almost from the begging, when their aunts tried to hook them up.

@cracksh0t.bsky.social They both helped each other grow and push past their pain, both loved each other completely but neither of them immediately accepted both Peter and Spider-man from the onset like she did.

@cracksh0t.bsky.socialMary Jane Watson is the perfect match for the hero who broke the mold. She’s not some demure, fawning vanilla place holder, she’s not yet another woman who loves Peter or Spider-Man nor is she like Felicia who at one point loved Spider-Man but not Peter.
