sometimes we still try to kinda encourage our kids to mask at school in the really high sickness periods, but they aren’t too interested 🤷🏼‍♀️

it appears to be the case that it isn’t very settled in trans medicine when one would want to start getting this screening, as my medical providers haven’t agreed with each other about it. but i also have some family history of breast cancer so probably it’s prudent anyway.

i feel this at my book club sometimes too — people don't always know what to say about books, even if they really loved the experience of reading them.

if you asked my local community the question from the OP — "what are you reading?" — they would definitely have answers, but then afterwards…

i just asked our neighbor what she thought of Miranda July's All Fours, and she was like, "it was good, but i didn't identify too much with it." and i remember thinking: there's so much more we could say about this book, but it feels like we have no habits for deeply talking about what we read.
