This book came out a year ago. Had a great tour, a glowing NYT review, and was on NPR. It didn’t blow up. Not a bestseller. Didn’t get optioned. Won nothing. Didn’t earn out. Now I have no contract and I’m struggling with the next one. Being a writer is an endless war of attrition. Time to write!

I'm hearing WeTransfer has already walked back and changed their TOS removing the more egregious parts that made it impossible for creative professionals to keep using.
