By driving away all of our closest allies, Trump is making America weak and insecure.

Bluster and bullying do not equal strength--in international relations any more than on the elementary school playground where Trump's brain is.

Strength comes from having friends willing to stand up for you.

After 9/11, the US invoked Article 5 of the NATO treaty and every NATO member helped to combat terrorism.

Some of our closest allies, like Denmark, went even further, voluntarily sending troops to Afghanistan and Iraq in support of US-led wars there.

Today, Trump is threatening to attack Denmark.

Unfortunately, their attitude is to some extent a self fulfilling prophecy...

Well, you literally did fabricate the data set.

I suppose I should have said "in real life data sets of the type that we are discussing, removing any significant number of low values almost always lowers the median, though in very rare cases it will remain the same."

Happy, pedant?

Of course you can fabricate a dataset where dropping low numbers doesn't raise the median. I didn't address it not because I didn't understand it, but because it is trivial.

Competence itself is a threat to the fascist mind, as it locates a source of authority (i.e. reason and knowledge) outside of the leader's will.

Yes, dropping low numbers from the data will have the effect of raising both the mean and median, so the logic works in either case.
