Not sure why YT rec'd this vid to me but it was pretty impressive. My lasting impression of the actual #film was that like many #Hindi films of the era, the colour palette screamed: We can film in colour now, LET"S USE ALL THE COLOURS, ALL THE TIME, IN EVERY SCENE"

I was planning to watch #cDrama #LovesAmbition for Zhao Lusi anyway but finding out that Wan Peng has a major role is raising my interest. I've been a fan since ALSB , and she was REALLY good as the BFF in #WillLoveInSpring I hope she gets a good lead in a contemporary #cDrama soon

An example of why #jDrama #ImADListHandler makes no sense to me: Right from ep 1, a major character has often warned another character that if their real identity comes out, they'll be fired. At the end of ep 6 the threatmaker looks at a photo of that person & says "now you're the only one lying"?!

Halfway through and Really not enjoying #jDrama #ImADlistHandler at all. Shrill, noisy, and tonally chaotic and contradictory. BUT, I need to find out if any of its sound and fury actually signifies SOMETHING, so will keep going.

Some Personal Taste taste - there's an instrumental theme that's used often throughout. I really liked it then a couple of years after seeing it, discovered that it was lifted totally uncredited from a #jDrama that came out out a year or two earlier. I agree that LMH did well in PT, though

2/x My Dad's Mum otoh is the one we actually called "grandma" and my memories of her are vague. All I remember is someone I thought of as a scary old Indian lady. Decades later my older sister (who knew her better) texted me "I'm watching "Doctor Who: Demons of the Punjab" - it's granny!"😱🤣
