This seems to be excessive cheek, otherwise Liz Truss would have lasted longer than 50 days!

Why is Starlink so expensive? (I actually have two more conventional Internet lines, one is 5G and one is fibre.)

Swiss law still bans the FA from *ever* bidding to host the FIFA World Cup, as such a bid contravenes the Swiss public procurement legislation.

Why are there only 6 trains a day from London ON to Toronto, when there are (a) 6 flights a day from London Heathrow to Toronto and (b) 3 trains per hour from Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston?

5000 seems a fairly low threshold for "high exposure", as e.g. Bamber Bridge Station Road level crossing's exposure is about a million. Not that this excuses Brightline, of course. Hospital Inn is about 400K. Both are full barrier crossings, and the trains are rather slower.

At best the NEC is 5 tph intercity (not counting commuter).
The WCML is *9 tph* intercity, and this is one of only five intercity lines out of London (the GWML is 8 tph, the MML and ECML seem to be 6 tph, and the GEML is 2 tph).

Even the price of eggs was a lie.
A dozen large eggs at Walmart is $7.42. A dozen large eggs at Asda (part-owned by Walmart), or for that matter at Sainsbury's or Tesco, was $3.89 when I checked (or £3.15).

Why isn’t US car insurance automatically ∞/∞/25000, which is approximately what UK car third party insurance provides as standard?

The first and sixth items on this list seem egregious. The other four I accept they should have been treated as civil matters.

I think this is explicitly wrong? (Of course Gareth Dennis is right.) The railways standardised on a 215 mm step from platform to train.

Apparently the right think we don't know what tariffs are!
The EEC's Marbury v Madison moment was over tariffs on urea formaldehyde.

Accepting that abortion may in some cases be needed is not "far-left"!
BTW I actually have a "pro-life centre" near me. I don't think I have ever seen anyone go in.

OK but the NHS drug tariff is too complicated for me to decide what insulin actually costs (I think this is only half the list of the insulins).
It is free to the patient in any case.

I am pretty sure this is unlawful and unconstitutional.
In the UK, there are provisions for schools to have to provide worship and religious education. Many object to that. But in the US it's surely just not allowed?

But NJ has no business whatsoever in what charges NY State, or NYC, or Manhattan, charge for driving in NY, whether it be a congestion charge, an ultra-low emissions charge, or anything else.
Also, aren't there bridge tolls?
Take the train!

Why TF is (a) there a McDonald's drive thru so close to the Magnificent Mile and (b) why so popular?
The equivalents in the much smaller British cities of Newport and Preston are in pedestrian zones.
