No I agree with that assessment of Starmer. However, his government haven’t recognised tripped over their own shoe laces now, it’s becoming embarrassing. I genuinely think he’s a decent man, but Morgan McSweeney, that’s another matter.

What will it take to raise the level of accountability? Btw, sadly, I think Starmer is toast after the most recent revelations re Mandellson. I cannot understand why he chose such an obvious slimeball to deal with Trump…. Unless he thought birds of a feather would work together?

Aye, I think I made a small contribution to that (not that I’m claiming any glory 😆). How come our governments haven’t recognised and addressed the depravity and criminality of these people such as Bannon ….. unless our politicians are part of it 😳

Long shot. Carole Cadwaller (hope that’s spelled correctly) has probably already done this, but the mainstream needs to get involved. They’ll do so if the see advantage in it. Morality and accountability definitely won’t be their motivation, sadly.

I couldn’t agree more. The only things that stop people like Mandellson, Gove, Johnson et al stop and think, are accountability and consequence. If we don’t have those, we have nothing.

It’s the only way politicians as a group get to protect the current political status quo, no? I mean, it’s not the entire democratic system that failed right, but a case of some minor negotiating issues.
