Understanding the challenges neurodivergent children face when returning to school 🏫 School refusal and the "Can't Group" are two distinct hurdles many children experience. 📑School Refusal：A reaction to anxiety, where physical and emotional responses like stomach aches or crying can emerge as signs of feeling overwhelmed. 🫶🏻The ‘Can’t Group’：A deeper mindset where children believe they can't succeed in school, feeling inherently different and unable to thrive like others. These challenges connect, as repeated experiences of stress can shift a child’s mindset from "I don’t want to go" to "I can’t do this at all."
