My biggest issue with any ICE actions are the ones taken at a school. As heinous as it is for an adult to live with the looming shadow of "papers please" and needing to be ready to prove your citizenship at any moment, children wouldn't normally have those papers to carry. For good reason.

The Internet is out at the office and therefore nothing can be done. The boss is out of town and last night berated me for working from home, which ironically can still be fully functional.
I am now watching Gladiator II for lack of anything else to do.

Me: I really need to come up with the resources to find a new Doctor to sate my drug seeking behavior and maybe get a disability process started if applicable.

Anesthesiologist from a surgery last year: How about you pay us $2000 instead?

Me: Guess I don't need blood sugar medication or that arm.

I am torn... on one hand I can like the posts of my wife because I am loving and supportive. On the other hand it would also give the algorythm horrible information about what I would like to see from people who are not my wife.

Not everyone will agree, and they don't have to. But one thing is for certain, saying "fuck this country" is one of the most patriotic things a citizen of these United States of America can say.

And that is part of what makes our country great. That we can change it for the better. That we can stand up and call out the horrible things.

The list of ways this country has grown and changed because people said "fuck this country" on some level to some of it's bullshit is longer than possible to recount.

Fuck this country.
We have a long and mixed history of utterring this phrase or some semblance of it, and then trying to change it for what we think is the better.
