I didn’t think Kerkez was the problem in either match he’s been subbed out of. I love Robbo but Kerkez they may try to exploit his height but he’d be on that guy like stink on shit

Arne and our squad have a lot of fucking growing up to do. Honestly, I don’t know how many starting 11s. I’ve looked up at and said WTF. Only to know it halftime at least the right subs will come on. Only for those subs to roll in and the players who sucked for 45’ are still on the pitch.

Saw the same and all of the sudden there no space out wide, no width. The ball up to Salah doesn’t exist and we have no transition on the right.

We keep playing defense first scared. Macca watches life go by.

If you take the blinders off and look at it from afar if we were in 3rd Pl., Christmas and our team had finally gelled and could read each other’s minds and we were playing full throttle, that’s what you would hope for. Now in the heat and the fray of it, we expect immediate success

Sometimes with some players, it happens immediately. Sometimes with some players, it takes months or a full season. Modric toiled for a full season at spurs before they realized he was actually open in tight space. It takes time.

That when Flo looks like he is covered or in tight space that you can still pass in the ball and he will get it and he will get past them. Where Macca needs to feed Hugo, How far Virg can push the D.

It’s going to take six months for that to happen.

Here’s the thing, at some point everyone needs to realize that it takes six months for a club to gel and be able to read each other’s minds and flick the ball to the left behind them instead of to the right. That Isak is in that channel.

It is a massive shame Marc Guehi isn’t a #LFC player and Giovanni Leoni has picked up a long term injury, because Ibrahima Konate needs to be benched and that means we are relying on Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez until Ibou regains form.

I also believe we need Bradley and Robbo starting for a bit.

I think everyone was aware it would take 6 months for these players to remotely gel. If a couple came out of the Stargate flying, the better but to be learning on the job and in first place is a miracle.

We all expected growing pains. We just expect to win it all too.

Watching him have to completely adapt his game because Cody Gapko has no transition game whatsoever is extremely frustrating.

It’s like the CB’s are either trained to never forgo the midfield or they don’t see it. It’s not just the cb’s though. Through balls in the channels from our 3rd or middle 3rd are there consistently for those striker/10 breaks and the passes to unlock it aren’t happening

It’s not the long sailing pinpoint pass from Trent we are missing. We’re missing the obvious adaptation. Maybe Konate can’t hit or see them. He’s been obvious in missing it the most but others are just as guilty. It’s why we lost our shit when Szobo hit a long across field to a LW a few matches ago

There are no passes between the def and forwards for them to play one twos to othe forwards or flow.

This results in wirtz and Isak popping up wide open where no one sees it at least 2-4 times a match. It’s an issue. It was an issue with Flo and now it’s an issue with Isak.
