🌳Parks are essential green spaces for exercise, socialising, relaxation, but 1 in 6 UK women feel unsafe in them even in daylight. That's why @annabarker.bsky.social @suzylamplughtrust.bsky.social & @keepbritaintidy.bsky.social have launched the #StandUpAgainstStreetHarassment campaign

The Accelerator includes a PhD scholarship programme, and a series of workshops and funding calls designed to support interdisciplinary research, bringing together researchers to collaborate on research addressing global health challenges such as cancer, heart disease, and neurogenerative diseases.

They are designed to prioritise safety and not to escalate situations.
