Times it feels like a blessing, to be connected to the rest of the world. To share commonality. But other times, it’s a heavy, heavy burden.

I’ve been down the rabbit hole of documentaries of our country’s history for about the last week, especially our involvement in World War I and II. This nation from the 1930s through the 1970s was on some other shit.

We did and approved some GNARLY stuff. And still are, sadly.

Tear gas members of Chicago PD
Zip tie children
Grab Chicagoans from their beds in dead of the night
Open fire on a civilian in her car

Yet they say immigrants are the threat.

Protesters are the threat.

We know better.
