I wouldn't even qualify this - if you live in a medium-sized town and up, your library's modern video selection is larger and more varied than the video store's selection was
Support your local libraries! It may not be the exact same but many of them can fill that void! (Yes they have discs and things other than books :))
here's how time works:
GenX hated Blockbuster Video bcz it destroyed so many indie video stores.
Millennials loved Blockbuster Video for the same reason GenX loved the indie video stores.
Now we're both the same. We all miss our childhood video stores.

It’s so tiresome. I am so tired. I do realize that is also on purpose by them. But it’s so depressing that the real life villains aren’t even cool; they’re just dumb and nakedly, viciously greedy.
