Clarification: I had intentionally spelled galvinising with the letter S and it was autocorrected; there is no restitution to be made by this morning's encroachment on style choice by technology. Alas, I shall imbibe a vodka spritzer paired with a working dinner still fuming.

Also, stay strong, Canada... sensible Americans, too. (Those passing the goodness 'round.)

And these two cuties are included among today's finest actors rumored to be in the running for roles in a 21st century TANGO & CASH reboot, albeit one intentionally retconned

Clarification: the above referenced conversation with a friend is not a recent one and their (the authors) antics, as I understand, have not changed sufficiently for my opinion to be updated/modified

I spelled it galvanising -- WTF?! is with this autocorrect I can't seem to turn off in Bluesky but can elsewhere?

Brandywine? Brandywine? FFS, I am still on yesterday's tomato plant kick, apparently

OK. Today's short story was a blast to draft. Absurd—still need a few tweaks. But a fucking blast. My pops (RIP) would piss himself from laughing at the Bonnie & Clyde, gangster & Keystone Cop stuff (outright references & allusions). Picking Wimpy out of the aether was his spirt guiding me.

And the John Clare scene with Eva Green in Season 2 (I think) is so dark and yet beautiful... sublime.

And if you're familiar with me & previous statements, an old tweet still stands: YES, I crush hard on Eva Green; beautiful/bookish/low-key/quiet. Yep, she's one of the few celebs I'd care to meet.

Ah. I will have to do some research because Dalmatia is/was a part of Croatia. Fascinating regardless and have put a seed order in for one tomato plant that is new to me, or that I think is new to me. Thanks again for posting that. Cheers!!

This year's tomato selection for the garden complete:

1. Cherokee Purple heirloom
2. San Marzano
3. Herzegovac (that is either new to me or has a different name that I may know it as)

Around 2 lbs each. Harcegovac have never failed to please and are a staple in my garden every year. A great slicing tomato with deep, rich tomato taste.
