Among adults with complicated Staphylococcus aureus bacteremia, dalbavancin was not superior to standard therapy, though both treatments demonstrated similar efficacy and safety profiles.

So proud of my M4 mentee, Natalie Sturd, who was one of only two trainees selected to give an oral presentation at the Nebraska ID Society Conference today! She presented a case of KS-IRIS and highlighted the importance of honoring our patients through the learning process. #NIDS #IDSky

The theme this year was "One Health," and the meeting was at the prestigious Henry Doorly Zoo!

🚨 IDSA has released the first guidelines for the management and treatment of complicated urinary tract infections (cUTIs)!

The new guidelines simplify the prior definitions of uncomplicated UTIs and cUTIs, & address treatment for cUTIs.
