Today’s report: talked to a human at the shelter and was transferred to the behavioral line. Left a message with my funding offer and hope to get a call back soon.

Tried contacting the shelter with my training offer. Due to holiday (?) I could not get through via phone. Sent email message to volunteer address and hope to get a response tomorrow. You can bet I’ll be on the phone again tomorrow.

At one time it was the salary and generous vacation time. Now it’s the fact that savings from that salary, a 401k, and a pension are providing a comfortable retirement. I so wish that future generations will be in this position.
