If you're really confused, this is the kind I'm talking about. You think we got access to pcr tests and shit in nursing homes? We had to wear backwards jackets rather than PPE for the first year, get real.

But they give 110% effort and make this sorta psychedelic, Americans doing Shakespeare accents sorta movie that's aspiring to be on the level of a wagnerian epic. I couldn't imagine a movie with this level of sincerity and seriousness being made in the last 20 years

Just watched the 81 movie Excalibur. Excellent film. I've seen people claim it's super accurate to the myth cycle. It's not. It's a film made by 70s guys who smoke weed, drop acid, have pagan sympathies and visit fortune tellers at ren faires.

This sorta thing inspires my game design. A silver piece here, a gp there, a constant stream of nickl s and dimes every room until the party hits a JACKPOT!! treasure hoard.

Here's one of my pieces. The adventurers are made with various techniques so they'll be consistent across images. The hills are red and it's set in a riverbed because that's part of the setting in the project. The goblin's in a corner so we understand she's hiding and spy from her perspective.

I think it's pretty clear what this communicates. You've been reduced to repeating "It's different! It just is!"

Communication is an act that occurs in the real world of matter and doesn't involve magical forces. There's no "inherent human creativity" in this but do you understand what it's communicating?
